Ron36
Got a little question want to know what you guys think . Got a Sundown SFB 3000 coming , it’s going to be running at 2.6ohms , right now I have 1 single run of 4gauge wire going to my amp , I have tons of 4gauge wire laying around so was thinking it’s way easier to run a second run of 4gauge then have to buy 0gauge , So would 2 runs of 4gauge be equal to 1 run of 0gauge. 2022 Ford Maverick on 22’s Skar SK1500.1 on 4 Skar VD-8’s Mids Sundown Super tweeters, Skar TX 6.5 components on Skar SKM400.4 LC2 for audio control , XS Power D680 XS Series Extra Battery
1point21gigawatts
Almost. 1/0 gauge supports 350 amps of current and 4 gauge supports 150 amps of current. 2 runs of 4 gauge will work just fine. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
1point21gigawatts
As long as it’s ofc and not cca. If it’s cca, I would do 3 runs or just get 1/0 awg ofc. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
