ALPINE408 Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 im no cheap ass but there is alot more power out there for the money and quality power at that. im runnin sundown but did i say to run it no i didnt. u can buy 2 gp3000d's for less than 1k. where else u gonna get legit 6000 watts for less than 1k from? u can actually pick 2 of them up for 900 shipped with 2 year warranty to your door without being on team maxxonics. lol whats wrong with stetsom pricing i can get a 26kd that is around the same price as a sundown REFURB 3000d around the same watts and NEW!!!! Thats not fair ill take the technology in my personal "smaller" T series amps over those other ones though.....at least for a multiple amp system. Thats just my preference though. Gotta love the warranty too. I know nothing is SUPPOSED to go wrong, but if it does, my shit is on its way to Arizona and will be back in a week. I would get as much as you can on a good amp... You can always turn the gain down... it's not like you have too use the max power all the time.... Now if you get an amp that just pushes your amps ....That's a whole different story than your going to turn it up to max and blow stuff up.... (Dirty Power)....This is why i say go bigger and let your amp grow with your system..... You guys are lucky to have Forums to teach you this stuff... It does help to know which class your going to compete to help you... I know it's in the Infancy stage but you should take the time and read the rules.Everyone here is going to tell you that there amp is the best.... and they should!!!! it's the winning pride that we all should have. I love the RF's but could never afford them.... I couldn't even afford the T3 refurbished back in the day so i took a chance on a company that was not known and i scored... same price double the power... The most part i love about the amps i use is that i abuse the Fu<k out of them and still no Problem.... and if anyone seen me at the show they would now 4 Stetsom 7KD 16v on only one 12v battery ,car Off S/Max 1-2... i clipped the shit out of my amps and they just go into protect and the amps blinks several times to let me know what was wrong... I just push the off button on my stereo and they are ready to play! Most amps would go POOF.. You have some long hard days ahead too decide...
