Because i was at a car audio shop and a customer overheard me talking to the shop employee and in passing said "go to home depot and grab shoegoo" and that was it. 1point21gigawatts Posted June 10, 2020 Report Share Posted June 10, 2020 Don’t use shoe goo. Shoe goo will peel off after the surround moves for a while. Just peel that shoe goo off and use this. Trust me. This stuff will hold up for the long run and is stronger more and stronger and won’t peel off. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Permatex-Ultra-Black-Hi-Temp-RTV-Silicone-Gasket-Maker/16777009 They sell it at Walmart. It works great repairing surrounds.
