If that amp is really doing 1600 i would buy the 150 amp

you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

fuses are for rookies.....

I would get the 200a if the amps are internally fused, won't hurt anything.

2003 Ford F-150 Reg Cab layin body on 26's

2003 Tahoe 3/5 drop on 26's with a 408cid Supercharged engine.

2011 Camaro 2SS 2005 VW GTI Stage II ECU, CAI, 3" turbo back exhaust, FMIC, lowered 2" on some plastidipped 18's

2003 Hayabusa lowered, stretched, cams, nitrous and custom paint

The fuse under the hood is to protect the wire not the amp. If you are using copper 1/0 gauge then 300 amp fuse, if its copper clad alum. then 250 amp.

For the amp you would need to add another right before the amp for the 150 amp fuse (if not internally fused)

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P6000UB

Sub Amp:American Bass VFL 500.1

Subs: 4 Fi BL 18's

Enclosure:21.5 Cubic foot flat wall tuned to 40 hz

Batteries: 3 Kinetik 2400's in the back, Kinetik 1200 under hood.

Mids & Highs: 4 Kicker DS 6.5 coax in doors, 2 Kicker DS coax in pillars

Highs Amp: Kicker kx250.2, kx100.2

Wire: 4 Runs 1/0 gauge Knukonceptz

CCA wire, copper clad alum isn't as good as just copper. It can't hold the same amperage, plus from what I have seen you will have bigger voltage drops.

The fuse by the battery is always to protect the wire.... in case of a short or something you don't want that wire burning up.... because after all its going through your car! So with the battery fuse always go by the wire rating.... so in your case yes 250 amps (even the page you linked had 250 amp fuse in the info). You could go with the 150 amp also, it doesn't matter as long as you don't go over the rating otherwise its useless.

yea the amp says it has a 150A on it! but i think ill just get the 150A!

Didn't see that before so you don't need to worry about a amp fuse sorry for any confusion.
