Impressive technology lmfao...looks like the standard magnet that every1 uses to me...aint no way thats neo...if its 3 or 4 times lighter why is it heaver?haha...that must be some HEAVY soft parts...8lb dustcap and all... Forevrbumpn Posted May 21, 2008 Report Share Posted May 21, 2008 nothing axial about it... axial design motors are like the DD neos, or the Focal array motor subs I dont think there is anything special about the magnet assembly other than its wider, and flatter Ive built motors just like this, you decrease in xmax, but gain over all SPL, and efficiency... its been done for years, but on subs/woofers with low power handling designs, then you add a higher gauge wire on the VC, gain alot more power, you get a subwoofer with incredible transient response, and strength to the subwoofers piston motion Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
