i like the fact that someone else is working on my year span f-150. i have a '01. you should check out my build thread. we have the same voltage driving down the road. but, mine drops to around 11 or so, at idle its right around 13.8

yea mine is 14.4 or 14.3 @ full tilt goin down the road and bout 14.7 or 14.8 @ idle....then @ idle and buming full tilt it drops to anywhere from 13.9-14.2 so it is always round the 14v or higher....so i am happy....lol

yeah it is alot louder! i had to go and save his ass and re-wire his subwoofers and made sure everything looked good. its funny as hell his dad says that he has a garden hose going through his trunk lol. but yeah def. louder, tickled my fancy rofl.

Do you have another pic of the 14.8v @ idle cause the one posted reads 14.4v at idle no audio.

14.8v is rare for any stock set up just woundering. Keep that truck if so, thats gold.

Weird my car charges with no audio at 14.7-14.8 and that was done with a DMM not one of the gauges that are sometimes in accurate.

It was just a question. Most cars are regulated buy the cars computer so upgrading the alt will not increase the voltage. If you are getting 14.8v thats great, if not we could help.

You may not need a module if its 14.8v

If you see 14.7-14.8v you are lucky, was all I was saying. The other 98% of us did not win the voltage lottery. :(
