good idea. But it wouldn't sound the same on camra as in real life.

yea on that vid u see just alot of rattle/hear alot of rattle

in real life you still hear the rattle but its got ALOT of boom to it

ive gotten calls from home from my son askin if i was almost home because he could hear it.....from 3 blocks down, then over a sound wall (by the freeway), over 10 lanes of Highway 80, over another sound wall, then 4 or 5 more blocks away to the road i was on. I actually filmed how far away i was but its not good video because it doesnt really demonstrate what i was trying to show very well. I really need to find a way to show you guys how far it can be heard, im positive its over a mile in the city (with other "noise" interfering). In the canyons where chicken lives and its much more quite, i can be heard about 5 miles away if not more. One day when i was coming home from that area, i was bumpin out in the middle of nowhere because i heard a good song. I turned it down about 1/2 mile from the little town i was about to drive through and i immediatly got pulled over. The sherriff said he could hear it coming from so far away he was just waiting for someone to bend the curve so he could see who it was I told him "im sorry, i was in the middle of nowhere not bothering anyone and i turned it down way before i hit civilization" he told me he knows i did because he knew exactly when i turned it down and how long it took to bend that curve and show up for my "courtesy" he let me go with a warning.....

so ya, that shit DEFINITLY travels

i was reading up on acoustics and the difference in the way sound travels at night or during the day. ex: at night, just after the sun goes down the ground is still warm but the hair as cooled, when traveling long distances the waves will "hug" the ground and travel through the warm medium instead of rising and dissipating. interesting stuff.

sounds travels like crazy and at night it's a lot quieter ........... explains why i had my neighbor five houses down come over to say "cut it down because a picture just fail off my wall". hell all my windows were up.
