First things first I have the following:

Mechman 370A alt

XS3400D

All 1/0G wire

Soundstream 1200.4

Orion XTR 2500.1Dz

Yesterday I installed my 2500Dz and wired it to my single HCCA.

Upon turning the truck on to tune it, with everything in my head unit turned all the way up, bass knob all the way up, gain almost all the way up. I get VERY LITTLE bass.

Both amps still on green light, no protect mode.

I try turning up the volume on my head unit to see if it gets louder, while you do hear a bit more bass, my fuse pops.

Today I am going to see if fusing the XTR up will stop the popping. Still not sure why I’m having little to no bass.

Any advice helps,

TIA

(pics of box. No it’s not pretty but it gets the job done until I can build a quality one. I did this with my skillsaw and I’m finally getting a table saw next week so bear with me lol)

You could be sending a high passed signal or have improperly setup your filters at the amp or elsewhere.

As for the box, the port looks like if you just cut a window in the baffle rather than being an actual port, not sure though.
