blazn22s
Vehicle ref. 2012 f250 diesel 2 agm xs group 65 under hood (coming) 1 northstar 220 behind seat Mechman 370 alt.(coming) Current wiring big 4+ all 1/0 Current amps jp10.4/ jp63/ jp8.4 Conservative ratings 13000 watts. I have 2 runs of shca 1/0 ran from fuse holder under hood to the agm in rear. Is the 2 runs enough To the rear battery then all the amps fed off that battery's buss bars? I will most likely add another northstar 220 behind seat after I figure out my space. Should I run 4 runs of 1/0 to rear battery(s)?

sICSoundz
They sell one but can easily make one but move the batteries under the cab off the frame, Run 2 runs and save the money, this will not only save wiring but also your batteries will last longer and be much happier. Is it a 6.7? I guess I assumed since you have 2 but it is just as easy to add a second to a gasser. If it is a PS make sure to at least connect the batteries straight to one another if not. I have only dealt with 2 alternator trucks and the batteries are not directly linked like my 06 6.0. That much power and your obvious DIY ability why not go lithium if you don't mind my asking? Also, Curious where is "4 runs" coming from?
sICSoundz
I am an idiot, I just seen the engine pictures so ignore that part...... (I don't want to edit due to what I said is still relevant and for future potential to help someone else) Side note, Is it just me or are our trucks just acoustically challenged? I have swapped my systems from my truck to a car and the difference is asinine on how much better it has been in everything compared to the truck, I deadened, tuned and played with different ports and positions and just never came close to as loud, hard hitting or clean in anything else lol. I have 2 buddies with superduty's and it's not bad, just different 🤷♀️ IYKYK I guess
blazn22s
I currently have 2 runs ran from the front to the rear to the agm battery, i thought about running another 2 but don't know if it's needed since the bulk of the amp draw is going to be from the agm in rear and the 2 runs should supply enough amperage to charge it, being I just have the 1 370 alt. I've been trying to find the lower alt bracket to possibly add the factory 157 Alt to it to get me up to about 530 amps. Even then the 2 runs should carry that fine with 2 300 amp fuses. Yea I mean I got 37s with 22x14 so the road noise is primarily the issue I had. So hopefully matting the whole cab is going to help I haven't drove it yet to find out if it made a difference. I've had a couple systems in this truck and I've managed to get them to sound decent but like you said I could take that same system throw into a blazer or Tahoe and it would be way louder for some reason. I decided to go with the nightshade 12 with shit load of power gonna try to do a center console build around 3 cubic feet and see if it'll slap lol. If not back to the drawing board. As far as lithium tbh I've never messed with lithium and don't know much about it. I looked into it and talked to couple people and they told me I should just go with agm because I didn't wanna remove the battery's under the hood. I guess just want to keep it semi simple. From my under standing I would have to do a battery delete remove all battery's to run lithium? Always open for advice and knowledge tho.
