uh you can get a HO alt from anyone for that car....

Yeh extremely easy to locate an alt for that car if it uses a cs144...here is a Iraggi Alternator - "Dominator" Series Delco CS144 Series

I know....I found those this morning that use a CS144 case.

The lower amp alternators have better idle amperage then dominator series.

They actually make a 1 groove pulley for later GM vehicles 84 -88 or something like that, I just overlooked it the first time.

It has the same plug as my alternator so no wirering or anything like that, just the big 3.

I use a 260amp Iraggi alt on my 80 Impala

I dont know the technical number, its just a large case GM with 1 groove for a v-belt pulley
