How Much Power Are You Single Alt Guys Running?

2,ooo rms with the stock 160a alt and a regular battery, i do have a crapacitor to help put my electrical system right now. 14.1 full tilt. upgrading soon

used to run 5200w on stock alt and 3 total batteries

voltage once went to below 9v on full tult.

now i run 4800watts on my stock alt which is 85 or so amps and 6 deep cycles and at full tilt it stays at 12.5

So I should be ok with the single alt running 6,000wrms as long as I have at least 1850A in batts, correct?

If its a stock alt it will eventually fail and your gonna need ALOT of batteries!

I'm running ~ 4000wrms stock 140amp alt 650cca stock battery upfront and kinetik HC2400 in the back 12.5 full tilt oh yeah and a batcap 400.

Vehicle: 1997 S10 Blazer 4dr 4X4

Exterior: Rear End Bagged, Black Grill, Lifted 2"

Amplifiers: Rockford Fosgate T8004 & T10001bd

Batteries: 2 Stinger SPV35, Kinetik HC2400

I replaced the stock alt so thats covered....got to get on them batts now :)

Damn, I can't really post here since I'm using dual alts. Oh well, what the hell.

xxx-6500d on one alt. (Haven't done a realtime test yet, so not real positive. Been told around 7K is normal) 14 8 volt batteries wired to 16volts.

200 on factory alt. (gonna add more amps, for mids and highs)
