Product: Level 4 10"

Manufactured by: DC Sound Lab

Purchased/received from: Rusty (DC Sound Lab)

MSRP: $459.99 but can be had for much cheaper from your DC dealer in your area

Decided i wanted to run something small in the explorer for a while since i have a newborn and im really glad i did. I'm in no way affiliated with DC Sounds company, but i would like to take this time to say that Rusty has a GREAT product here and i will recommend this piece of equipment to anyone looking for a great product with a budget. Its installed in a 6th order bandpass originally designed for a 10" XXX i was planning on running. Installed it today on an amp thats well under the RMS rating of the sub (1000rms) a Crossfire VR600d (600rms).

Pro:

works well off of well under rms power

great looking sub

real robust sound

sub company wise probably the best experience i have had with a company for customer service.

Con:

not really a con at all but i personally like triple stack magnets for aesthetic purposes.

The chrome on the motor scratches pretty easily in my opinion

Loudness

142.0 on the dash Gucci Mane - Street Niggas using peak hold on termlab

139.8 30 second average

SQ:

Blends really well will my RSD components, i was able to play everythign on this sub with no eq tweeking, which i loved, as im the type of person who fiddles with settings on every damn song.

Cost to Performance Ratio - 10 out of 10

will be real hard to beat this sub loudness and still sounding great.

Performance - 10 out of 10

above and beyond what i wanted out of it, very happy with the sub. was expecting loudness that i recieved from it, but was pleasantly surpried with the quality of the sound from the sub.

Customer Service - 10 out of 10

Great, willing to talk on the phone, answers my emails in a timely manner, and is great about shipping exactly what i want when i want it.

Repeat buy - 10 out of 10

definitely will be buying more for another build i'll have in the works later on.

Overall Score 9.5 out of 10

Great pricing for a sub that sounds great and is LOUD even off well under RMS value. it would be a 10 if the chrome was a little more sturdy, but once its in the box its not like that matters whatsoever anyhow.

142db off 600 watts on a single 10. That's what I'm talking about. B)

Subs are like titties, They need to come in pairs because ones and threes are just wrong, and larger amounts will always draw a crowd, we all have our favorite sizes, but the bigger ones are more fun to watch move. :D

yea a 97 explorer with about 7 layers of rammat everywhere lol

its a little overkill but the deadening was from when i was running big builds

oh and i forgot to give props to 80inches for the box design i got from him about a year ago i just never put it to use til yesterday, so im sure he thinks i just threw it in the trash after all this time lol.
