I though sub up and port back were best for more open vehicles like an SUV or really big car Diablo Audio Technologies Fi Car Audio Ascendant Audio

RamenNoodles
Yea man, Im so glad I switched to it, Im hoping to be getting another 12" BTL along with another GP3000D id really love to be able to get into the 150s but I highly doubt that will happen with just 2 12" btls. Id really love to do 2 15s but Im almost positive I dont have the room for a box that big let alone get it in the trunk. ALPINE408
140 dbs is easy to get in the right install team lutz is a damn good 139.9 bass racer with 1 12 in the trunk and to do that you have to be able to play 143 db's on music!!! its anything after that.... it gets harder and harder untill your only gainin tenths of db at a time Have you ever had your woofers blown? wL<3bass
Not as easy as some say if your doing port back subs back and seat in with no opening it will take some power if it a trunk car (dad's 1998 Cadillac ElDorado with 2 ts-w5102spl on 3.5k-4k are doing a 143.8 on music) so its not as easy as every1 assumes to break 140db in a trunk car. But you have a hatch so it shouldn't be too difficult as stated before its all in the install. PaulO2288
Well my friend in a Saturn trunk off of 2 12" L7's in a ported prefab with a zx1500.1 hit a 147 no problem. You need good subs, a loud and good box, he could have been a good few dbs louder with a custom box, and good box position.
