meade916 Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 cool.....well were here to help you man so dont take any of this personally that wire looked like it was 4ga in the first pics, now it looks like 8ga at best. If that fuse is rated high enough, then i can totally see the wire melting before the fuse (being such a small wire). For a 1500 watt amp, i would use 4ga minimum even if it is a short run like it appears to be. use a new, 4ga wire.....and for that 1500 watt amp, use a 150 amp fuse.
