finkster Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 (edited) Well not for me but for a buddy..for some reason i have the hardest time matching amps for highs so maybe u fellas could help me out... He's got 4 polk audio speakers (all of them 4 ohms and each 60 watts rms) and two shitty tweeters he got from walmart which are harsh as shit...Im talking him into some new ones so well edicate about 60 watts to each tweeter for the future...Sooo, around 360 to 400 watts rms...Im not sure how all of the wiring would work so i need some help...assuming all speakers were 4 ohms each, what amp should i get and how would i wire it? finkster Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 (edited) how would you wire the tweeters in there though? Also, if all of them are coax, then does he even really NEEd tweeters? Also note that this will be the first time he hears any type of highs on an amp...so i think he will be very impressed when he puts an amp on them...
