i had the d3 and grounded it but still would not work, also ygpm!!!

i like the look of the single din flip out, but ive seen a double din in a truck like mine before and i liked it more

You Have to put it on a Toggle... To where it get power...Cuz if you DMM your parking break there's power going through it when its engaged and when its off there's no power...

So it needs Toggled to a power source..

99vic said togle the ground break to one end, then ground the other to a ground, flip it on and off, then turn it on....would that work?

so i can just ground out the brake wire??

also what all do i need besides the unit and the wiring harness? do i need a dash kit?

touch the green brake wire 3 times off and on the ground wire then leave it connected should work like that. and you shouldnt need to do it everytime it should learn it.
