Boon
Gah. I know it's thread from the dead... All the people who said they would keep it, how about if someone stole your entire system the next time you made a mistake like leaving your car unlocked? Theft is theft. Quote 10.x volts fo' life! eliassami5
im willing to bet that it was onlinecarstereo.com, i ordered a hifonix amp from them and they sent me the wrong one but it was the never better more powerful model and so i kept it. When i thought i was not working i called them and told the guy that they sent me the wrong amp and he said "wow man you got a deal!" and he walked me through my problem with it. So in the end i got the better amp and they didnt do anything about it. So stealing from the rich is more ok? What if you had 4 subs and someone just stole one of them, does that make it any better? Quote 10.x volts fo' life! BJD3
So stealing from the rich is more ok?What if you had 4 subs and someone just stole one of them, does that make it any better? While I'm of the opinion that you call them up and see what they want to do with the amp, I'll play devil's advocate. That's not the same thing. That would mean someone had malicious intent from the get go. A better example would be if you are selling a sub and you told the guy "The sub's in the box in front of my house." The box's all sealed up, so the guy just takes the box without checking it. That guy didn't start out wanting another subwoofer. You basically told him to take it. Do I think it is right to keep something if you know it isn't yours? No, but I also know that expecting someone to return it if I was the seller is highly unlikely. ____ One of the many things my grandfather taught me is that if you even think it's wrong, it probably is. My first impulse was to just keep the amplifier. Afterward, it was almost like a gutcheck; something wasn't right. Point is, even though your getting caught and having to return the amp is extrememly low, is that really something you want to have bothering you? I'd much rather be out of an amplifier (that isn't mine in the first place) than have to live with myself knowing that I just fucked someone over. Be it a company or an individual. Do I think you're a bad person if you decide to keep it? No, that isn't my place. I just know I couldn't live with myself knowing that. *gets off soapbox* Quote Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above.
