Amalan
but but it was my idea... haha jp man but i dont think the box will hold a current unless the wires are touching the box itself and not the sub as long as you dont let any bare wires touch the box i think youd be good. Pokey
That's what I wanted to hear. The thought just popped into my head this morning while I was thinking about how to build the box. I think I may just model it after my current box and see if it sounds good in my truck.

Forevrbumpn
Thats a waste of marble mannn... It would be my end table by now Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. S12X
Think that the box being made of metal would hold current and shock someone from touching it or maybe short out somehow???? I just though about that possibility. :meh: ya how would you connect the speaker to the amp? you would almost have to run it thru the port, a terminal cup would just explode and the box is metal so you cant put bolts thru it Quote new setup in the works
Pokey
That's fine, I could run it through the port then. Why couldn't I put bolts through it??? that would be perfect unless your current box is huge lol then if it does fail youre wasting alot of steel but you can compare the two and tell us what you think It's not that it's huge, just kinda odd shaped. It gets smaller in depth behind the center seat.
Amalan
yeah thats messed up lol dont do the smaller in depth part with the steel box
Pokey
See it's just odd shaped, but had to do it that way to get the right airspace for the sub.
