EricM9104
Yea... Wtf? Idling at Sonic with A/C at full, engine was fine, was there for 10 minutes, we leave and get back on the highway, engine starts cutting out a few times and goes back to normal. Shut off A/C, opened all windows, still did it. Stopped for 10 minutes and let it cool down, started driving again and it still did it..... Engine: Nissan KA24E 2.4L 4-cylinder 1997 Nissan Hardbody XE Checked oil, that's fine. Temp gauge doesn't even go past the halfway mark. 137,xxx miles on it. Shinju
Fuel Filter, Fuel Pump. Injectors going bad/dirty. So it idles fine you say? Does it idle rough or smooth? Does it cut out when you give it gas? I would look into what I mentioned above. I dont remember if the 97's had Coil packs or a Distributer system. might want to check into it and see. Sometimes a Coil and cause that or a distributer getting ready to go out. My 240sx had that same engine I just gutted it out and but in a RB20DET
