01xtreme Posted July 2, 2008 Report Share Posted July 2, 2008 Well, I was on my way to work, and I changed lanes cause some asshole cut me off, and then slammed on his brakes. As I change lanes I notice a pair of cops shooting radar. I am not speeding, so I dont worry about anything, but then there is one of the cops behind me pulling me over. He approaches and says, "Well, you weren't speeding, but you did change lanes without signaling." I am getting pissed off, cause I dont ever remember hearing anyone getting pulled over for not using their turn signal on the highway, so I think he is gonna let me off. Well, he doesn't, adn then meters my tint, and gives me a ticker for that as well. So as of right now I owe Orange County FL $222. $136 for changing lanes without a signal, and $86 for the tint. I can't really be pissed with the cops, they were just doing their jobs, even though it is shitty they can't let a poor college kid off with a warning, even though it is a bullshit reason to pull someone over. What ever. I guess I will just have to live even poorer than I already do so I can pay the tickets. Sorry for the novel, I am just pissed off right now. I might even have to sell one of my amps just to pay it, since I wont get paid again until they are past due. He said he didnt give a crap about my tinted windows anyways. I asked the cop, and he said he honestly has no clue. I need to get the front windows re-tinted anyways, and I could definately use a break on the price of the ticket. Its a pain in the ass but, to go from paying $1000 to $100 its hella worth it. The judge might be reasonable if you explain your finacial situation and that you didn't change lanes but swerved from hitting an object tossed from the car in front of you. Don't say the guy braked and you had to move over because then he might get you for tailgating.
