I want an alram with remote start, and one of those LCD remotes.

Ive seen Clifford, Python, and Vipers but I really dont know what im looking at.

Whats the best one I can get for my money and still feel pretty safe with?

Thanks in advance!

All 3 of them alarms you listed with the lcd remotes are pretty much the same. They are all great alarms and all owned by Directed Electronics.

The viper 791xv seems to be a popular alarm by many people on this site, including me.

Damnit!!! I should of asked earlier

lol

I could of got a new one of those off ebay for $120 shipped the other day.

Its going to cost me $200 to get it installed but yea i need to feel safe with my system in the back.

A great add on for all the directed alarms is the glass break sensor. Depending on the sensitvity you set it to, just a key rattling on your window will trigger the alarm.

I got my 791 wired up with the glass break sensor, digital tilt sensor, shock sensor, pizzeo sirens inside the car, and 2 sirens under the hood (one siren more less a working dummy siren)

Ive had no problems with the alarm yet, seems to be a good unit.

Viper 791 or Viper 5900 if you have the money. I've installed god knows how many directed alarms/remote starts and they are by far the most reliable and have the best techs.

If you don't care about having remote start with it, looked at the viper 5002.

But personally I'm going to pick up a viper 5701 this fall when we get our new employee price on them :) bad ass piece of equipment right there.
