audiofanaticz
All 3 of them alarms you listed with the lcd remotes are pretty much the same. They are all great alarms and all owned by Directed Electronics. The viper 791xv seems to be a popular alarm by many people on this site, including me. http://www.directed.com/

audiofanaticz
A great add on for all the directed alarms is the glass break sensor. Depending on the sensitvity you set it to, just a key rattling on your window will trigger the alarm. I got my 791 wired up with the glass break sensor, digital tilt sensor, shock sensor, pizzeo sirens inside the car, and 2 sirens under the hood (one siren more less a working dummy siren) Ive had no problems with the alarm yet, seems to be a good unit. bbca1974
x3 yeah you can't lose they have a lifetime warranty on the brain if it's installed by a licensed dealer I have done many of these and have experienced almost no problemswith them
Shyne151
Viper 791 or Viper 5900 if you have the money. I've installed god knows how many directed alarms/remote starts and they are by far the most reliable and have the best techs. If you don't care about having remote start with it, looked at the viper 5002. But personally I'm going to pick up a viper 5701 this fall when we get our new employee price on them bad ass piece of equipment right there.
