EricR Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 do work son....new layout looks better i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

Torres Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 getting in and changing out speakers is a PAIN in the ass. so with them vertical, i hope for it to be easier than upside down lol. and i'll have more than 5" to work with like i did in the back of the clamshell i had before. and i remember reading that the more parallel the baffles are, the more output you'll get (basically). so i decided to redo it while i wait on my new speakers plus i will like the way it looks much better. and you'll be able to see all 32 of em. people would always ask where the other 16 were when i told em i had 32 lol. plus the box will be more sound and solid. so overall i'm planning on this being a nice upgrade
