Yeah i had dry wall screws in bc i was in hurry to put the sub in and thats what was around and i thought they were doing good untill today. i didn't say my sub broke the screw i was just saying i thought the new btl were loud and now it is WAY louder with the new screws in. im sure i just had a big ol gap between my sub and my box the whole time.

Oh and the AQ2200 seems to work just fine on the btl. I know im not pushing it to it's limits but it still gets really loud.

sure it does, if the screws break that means the sub can move, which lets the air out of the box around the woofer instead of the port inwich = not as loud as it should be!

Drywall screws arent meant to take that kind of punishment

agian I say T-Nutz FTW

Im not saying it like that. Im saying just because a sub can break screws that doesnt determine how loud it id. Im not going to go brag and say my sub is so loud it breaks screws. Example:Brad nail a box together with no glue or screws and the box breaks then say, "my system is so loud it broke my box". Use a high grade screw that is fine thread and it wont break.

Be careful with t-nuts because you may be screwed if those things don't grab and start spinning. I've been told that hurricane nuts work really well with mdf and are way better than t-nuts. Here's another solution that I did for a box:
