...if you haven't, don't!

I'm not one to bitch about cars being hard, but holy hell the ign harness is redic to get to. It's always good when you call directechs and they ask what kind of vehicle... you tell them... and they chuckle.

hahah what yr car bro, they arent fun to work on, when I did the alarm on the jetta I said ahh fuck this if they can steal it they can have it LOL

08 brand new off the lot with 14miles on it. Sales guy says when he drops it off "should i come back in an hour or so they're pretty easy?" I looked at him and laughed. And they put a compustar on it which I hate programming as it is :)

how long did this one take you? lol

About two and a half hours... two and a half hours of hell.

Our store does basically all viper and prestige. Just not really used to how they are setup to program, and we don't have the RF programmer for them.

And they make a can module to do starter, locks, and transponder bypass.

What bypass? I know the xk01 will do door locks, alarm, etc... is it something like the the xk532 for the chryslers? I just used a U... and directed didn't say anything about a bypass that does starter wire to? or is it from a different company?

With a compustar pro it should take about an hour

The thing is we don't do alot of VW's around here, basically GM, Ford, Chrysler, and Toyota. I can do all those in under hour to an hour and a half easily. Just not used to the damn german's like you west coasters. ;)
