Eskii Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 yes and no. you do get roughly the same response over certain frequencys, but when music drops below your tuning freq, the woofer becomes unstable. That's why most people tune to low 30's for daily set-ups. If you're chasin high SQ, go sealed, but you'll need more power to drive the subs. I run sealed and love the response i get. If you're after good sq and good spl. Go ported, tune it low (30-32), keep the volume lowish and have a fair bit of power behind the subs.
