Righto.

Got a job finally.

Getting a truck/suv in February.

Trying to figure out how much i need to save up for a vehicle and system.

Trying to go for a bit of cone area on a budget, no wall.

Was thinking of doing twelve Memphis PR12's (SVC 4ohm), with three HiFonics BXi1608D's, each amp @ 1 ohm.

Box would be 22.92cubes after port displacement, 303.75^3 sq. in. port area, tuned to 35Hz, 1.91cubes per woofer.

For mids/highs, thinking of doing four pairs of Alpine Type-R 5 1/4" coax speakers, two pairs on a 2-channel amp, at 2 ohms, amps would be two Power Acoustik PS2-800's, ran at 2 ohms, stereo.

head-unit would be a Pioneer DEH-P6000UB.

Batteries, probably 3-4 Deka Intimadator group 31 batteries.

2-3 runs of 1/0ga Knukonceptz Fleks wire, all pos wires, back batteries will be grounded to frame. (Weak, I know...) :(

Would I be able to do a box that's 42" wide, 48" deep, and 26" tall in a Ford Bronco II and be able to see out the rear window? (Removing back seats of course).

No offense man but you have 1700 posts and your asking us if this is a good first system?

Anyhow sounds good if your looking for that "wow" factor and still sound pretty nice. The PR line subs are very decent for the price and can handle up to 400rms of clean power. Amp wise each of those amps on 4 should power them nicely.

good luck and keep us updated...

That sounds like alot of money to build up...

Not really....

$2,200-ish for subs, amps, head-unit, and coax speakers.

Estimating $200-400-ish for wires.

Estimating $600-ish for batteries.

sounds like u have a good plan going. Not sure if 12 subs will fit in that box and u will prob be limited on seeing out of the back window. but that would be sick to see. good luck

Box specs wise, should be fine.

Haven't designed the box in CAD to see if all the subs would physically fit.

agree 100%
