David Posted July 18, 2008 Report Share Posted July 18, 2008 yes the flares are removable, they are just tapped on with black ducktape, please bring the sub with you, I have screws to mount it with, I do not have anymore 8 guage wire I used all of what I had in RedBarons Acura, so if you wanna bump on the way home pick some up please. I was gonna post earlier but was like no I'll wait for David to chime in first. to clear an 6" flared port you'd need almost an 9" mounting opening.
