Damn bro..thanks for the intro.Just to give everyone some scoop about me, Steve and I grew up together in the same neighborhood..We've known each other for a long time.  Anyhow just like several of you on here, I'm just an ordinary HP junkie who likes pushing the limits.  Several years ago, I started racing Dodge 3/4 ton trucks and ever since have been pushing the limits of these motors seeing how much hp we can get out of them.  Before I was forced to quit racing about a year ago, I hooked up with a great team of guys in which make lots of different mods for diesel trucks and so the story continues....pushing the limits of these motors every single day.Even though Gas and Diesel motors are completely different, the concepts of increasing hp are pretty much the same.  So if there is anything I can do to help throw some knowledge on this forum..I'm hereSteve, I gotta put my web server back online and then I'll throw up some pics and vids.

hey kev, does anyone offer a programmer or chip for the ram 1500 4.7 that does not require high octane gas? i do plan on going diesel in the next year or two...

Hey dude....if you plan on selling your truck in a year or so, I seriously wouldn't invest the money.

But with that being said, if you truely want  to do something about the power, I'd look at superchips.  They've made my guys some stuff in the past and they have a very good reputation.

Not sure what year your truck is, but here is a programmer for a 2k.

No worries dude..that's why I'm here.BTW, when you hear the people talking about having to use High octane fuel...don't believe the hype.High octane fuel is only needed in high compression motors.  Typical car motors are only in the 8.1 to 9.4 compression ratios.  No where near high compression..lolThough one thing you do need to keep in mind...is the transmission.  I am not sure if you have an auto or a manual.  But if you have an auto, you will most likely have to tighten up your valve body pressures to make sure your lockup clutches don't slip.  Auto's are definately picky when it comes to power.
