I personally think they suck, and hurt performance, but there are some for high HP applications that help. But anyways, they're different. If your car doesn't have one, don't add one. If it does, oh well. Suck it up, there are alot of aftermarket cats that will help increase performance, but I don't think they're worth the money. Especially for a daily driver. Pokey Posted January 24, 2007 Report Share Posted January 24, 2007 Depends on emissions laws in your state. I'm not sure, but I think any vehicle over 25 years doesn't require emissions. Either that or it's...If it didn't have it from the factory, you don't need it now. But if it did come from the factory with emissions controls, you gotta keep them.
