AI James
yeah but the 4 four fifteens would a bitch to fit with a blow through box.blow through ? i wouldnt do any less then 4 15s in a blow through.your amps will be a little under powering the BTL's but 1900 should be good enough til you can upgrade unless you want some BL 18s which i still think would be better then the mtx's
Siete_Cinqo
blow through ? i wouldnt do any less then 4 15s in a blow through. but id be trying to keep the subs facing the cabin along with the port. Unless i'm off about what a blow through box is????? Random vids of the Avalanche My link Team Bass-Hz
AI James
a blow through is just the name of the hole that goes through the bed to the cabin they can be configured in many ways. just if you go that route be sure to measure 5 times vut once i dont have the balls to cut a vehicle, if i get an s10 ....the shop a block away will be cutting my stuff lol
meade916
he doesnt have to cut a hole though, its an Avalanche.....Free blowthru FTW i would go with the BL suggestion if you dont plan on upgrading your power and the power that powers the power any time soon..... the BL's will like that power much better.... william8550
Yo, what up guys..... Brand new to the forum but been lingering around for quite some time. Anyway, thinking of getting rid of my 3 12'' 9500's that i have in my chevy avalanche and going with 2 18'' BTL's. But yesterday got offered a good deal an other 9500. So now thinking of just going with 4. I'm pushing them with 2 MTX8100 birthed at a little more 1900rms each. Gonna use the same amps if I do go with the BTLs. What do you guys think?????? Just looking for loud A$$ music bumpin. i have 4 12'' 9500's on 2 MTX4001d's strapted and it bang's but the guy's on here say the btl's a the shit so... So ur saying that if I seal the cabin from the bed and face the subs up in the bed and only have the port facing the cabin and blowing in (no homo) i'll be ok. meade916
no aim the subs / port into the cabin and seal off the baffle from the rear.....so no pressure goes backwards. Siete_Cinqo
The hardest part about this choice is the 4th 9500 will only cost me $180. And who knows how much i'll get for the three 9500 that i have if i were to sell them. If I do go with FI, I would definatly have to with the BTL's and uprgrade power later as my hands and ears don't believe that therw a point when to stop turning the volume nob Random vids of the Avalanche My link Team Bass-Hz

Siete_Cinqo
with any system moderation is needed sure is but the BTL's would be more forgiving then the BL's to the constant full power of those amps. So..... verdict so far says that 2 bad ass 18's is better then 4 pretty good 12's being pushed by the same amount of power...........????????????
