Krice420
hey i know this has been asked many times but i wanna know where to set gain to on my strapped sundown 3000ds because i want them to push as much power as they possibly can without clipping to my btls. i was thinking setting it like the tutorial would limit my potential power at higher voltage. and if i was to do it like the tut should i use the square root of 6000x2 since im running each amp with a 1 ohm load. 2 18'' fi btls fully loaded 2 sundown saz 3000d 1 iraggi 200 amp alt 3 powermaster 3100d series batts 11.75 cuft wall after displacement tuned to 31.08 hz

Torres
if they're strapped, then set it for both. 6000 watts @ 2 ohms, you need to set it at around 109.5 volts. (6000 x 2)^.
Krice420
i figured id set the master to 3000x1 and the second would follow 2 18'' fi btls fully loaded 2 sundown saz 3000d 1 iraggi 200 amp alt 3 powermaster 3100d series batts 11.75 cuft wall after displacement tuned to 31.08 hz
Torres
nope. they act as one. i have mine set up this way. i have the output voltage reading ~110. otherwise that is just half the power. if they're not strapped i dont think the amps will read that high either. which is why they do when they're strapped.
