Okay, so as it stands I have 4 MTX Jackhammer 12's.

125-250RMS

500MAX

They are in seperate ported boxes b/c that is all that i had at the moment, and they are being run off 2 insignia 1000/2's, a speaker per channel, so they are getting maybe 250RMS a piece.

What I need is some suggestions, on how I can get them louder, they sound good as of now and all, but i want it louder, so would I need 1 single ported box, or 1 single sealed, or bigger amp/amps, monoblock, 4 channel, i'm open for all suggestions, and some critcism if its not to harsh lol

All this is in a '97 Toyota 4 Runner

im still waiting on an explanation as to why you want his 12s in 4 cubes each

When is 8/4=4?

Lol.

That would be the specs that mtx gives you if you where to do the 2 cubed per sub

http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/subwo...-Subwoofers.cfm

but for some reason 8 cubes for 4 cheaper subs does sound a bit big.

Wow, guess I hit the nail on the head for box specs... didn't even look at MTX's site, lol.

Meh, a forum member here had four Pioneer TS-W306C's in a 9.4^3 cube box, tuned to 26hz with 2 6" PVC ports... did 146-148 in a Nissan truck.
