quakecitystudio
You can get 30,000w in a crx, let alone 2 15's for spl. You can pull the fuel tank, cut the floor on both sides of the rear axle, to extend the box for bigger volume, or build a battery rack underneath, as well as an amp rack underneath the car. Up front you can swap a b20 crv engine in the car for added torque, and build a custom alternator mount, to hold however many alternators to keep the current up. You can install a Del Sol twin core half size radiator up front to allow for more room for extra alternators up front. You can also install a 1 gal. drag fuel cell to sit in the engine compartment. I wish I could build something like this, I'd love to, but I don't have the money, and there's not as much support to SPL vehicles here in Arkansas. So if my audio fantasies are disturbing you, oh well, if I have an idea and am wanting feedback on the idea, I'm going to share it. assman
#1 a 158 in 2000-2002 is todays 148, maybe 150. No way that rex in that old article does 158 on the new meters and still plays music. It looks like its loud AND musical but not 158 loud. (TL sensors) #2 You arent getting 10 15's in a CRX. I would have trouble doing that so you definitly arent. Prove me wrong. #3 You arent getting 30,000 watts in a CRX. (or UNDER it) #4 you DEFINITLY arent getting 10 15's AND 30,000 watts. #5 you DEFINITLY arent getting a 160 before you do a 130, 135,140 or a 150. #6 that isnt a TL box #7 that box wont work even if you had all the room you needed. #8 theres people burping 158 with 2 12's in Rex's with one or two amps.... but they are SEASONED vets with lots of experience. That dont mean you can do it with 10 12's and 4 amps. stop fantasizing and get to work....."fantasy" posts are annoying. I think with a little imagination,i could fit 10-15's in a crx.Maybe that will be my next project. After i get bored with the astro Assman IdustriesFear The DuckTeam Notoriously Loud Mafia

meade916
never said it couldnt be done but that person would need to be a seasoned Vet and it would STILL be a task and a half.... i think you fall into the catagory of someone who COULD pull it off. If YOU made this post, we would all be frothing at the mouth. read the context of my post. YOU is directed towards HIM not YOU as in everyone. I think i was pretty clear on that All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! Forevrbumpn
I dont know what the dimensions are of a CRX, but 1 thing is for sure, the wood would be taking up a ton of room, so thox wouldnt be able to get in or out, would need to be built in ofcourse, Iam sure that is mentioned You got woofers firing in all directions wich causes major cancelation I tried and tried on sketchup, its not a realistic design AT ALL BUT if your desperate, do it the Alma Gates style pull that hatch off, and build your self a free air wall that sticks out the backside she pulled off 48 10"s I think in a free air wall with 48 amps firing in to the cab of a full size bronco she had the back side of the bronco removed to it can be seen how it was done, and just to prove it was free air, and she hit highest free air numbers Ever I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. dr.db
being annoyed and being pissed off are two different things. One can lead to the other though if it dont stop... what are you talking about "flat woofers"? You mean shallow mount? Never seen a shallow mount 15. please tell me how you would get 30,000 watts and the electrical to support it in a CRX AND a proper box for 2 15's let alone 10 Never mind, DONT. That would be me giving you the go ahead to fantasize. Just show us and STFU. K thanks. The only slim line 15 I know of is made by Earthquake....sws15 I believe....wont handle that much power though

Forevrbumpn
well, if Randy can do it I was able to shove 8 -15s in a isobaric Ported wall/box, I couldnt pull of a TL design tho I have a ritual called "terminator".
