Mosin
It is possible to wire up an aftermarket tach to an automatic transmission? If so, how do I do it? Quote Derp.

audiofanaticz
wow im sorry, but lol.... Im pretty sure you can, but you have to wire it up to the distributer cap/ coil some where. I forget what it is, but I know it can be done. if your car has a stock tach you can just splice or scotchlock off that wire. are you going to put on a big spoiler and a coffee can muffler too?? ChevyBoy
yes. find that wire, and run it to the signal wire on the tach that you buy. edit: dont run that wire to the tach, but tap a wire into that one, and run the TAPPED wire to the tach lol Edited July 31, 2008 by ChevyBoy

If this is correct, thank you very much!!! Quote Derp.
