Chode69
ok. is the pioneer 760 amp good and would 4 gauge wire hurt the amp at all?? so the champion subs seires the way to go then? the 760 amp is good but true power is around 300-400 watts RMS also 4 ga wire wont hurt the amp. wire doesnt hurt the amp unless its too small and its starving the amp. which 4 ga will be fine Quote NoFearX18 said: Nick will bang just about anything.....LMAO....pun intended On 4/13/2010 at 9:51 AM, meade916 said: i was like DAMN, Chode is hardcore! he makes james look like a friendly person LOL! trainman0978 said: I dont know who is worse with the buttholes Chode or Big P... Forevrbumpn
well, that 760 pioneer amp IS rated at max, not rms so, it being 300rms even is still a tad unbelievable Ive installed a few of them in my days to, not the worst amps in the word, but not the best Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. wL<3bass
They never were good, I think they are better now more than ever tho.. Ive done tons of installs on the Premier $100 subs, Ive done a couple of the older 2000w and 3000w spl subs, and 1 install of the 12" 5000 and those were all great subsI personally if I had the money, and of they were for the right price, buy the 15" SPL subs I mean damn, Titanium vc and windings, and ceramic coated paint to deflect heat from the coil?? sounds all good, but they keep them subs prices way up these ones are good rest are crap... Eskii
End of the day, pioneer are still make in china. (Unfortunately like some divisions of trusted companies). So not to be biased, they are of less quality than trusted US, European brands. If you want an entry level all-round sound system with good warrenty etc. Pioneer aren't bad. If you want an SPL or SPL/daily system, IMO look at different brands and along with that, price range!
