Slinky
Heres my dilema. I have a wall of 4 12's and it is skipping my sony cdplayer. its actually one of the highest sonys available and it still skips. I need to know if i should buy a new head unit (a better one) ( i was thinkin maybe PIONEER PREMIER DEH-P880PRS) or get a mp3 player. the pioneer would be more expensive but would probably have better sound quality. i also dont think it would skip like my sony. tell me what you guys think. SoloKicker
If you wire it up the right way, not using fm modulator bs, it will sound near if not better than cd's. I love the IPOD in the car, ill never go back to cd's.
S12X
a cd plays at ~1411 kb/s when an mp3 plays at 320kb/s max...there is tremendous SQ loss when using an mp3...they are able to compress by eliminating sounds the human ear cannot hear, such as frequencies below ~25hz Quote new setup in the works
TechSys
Ive never notice loss of bass with mp3s, but have with mids and highs. Guess I need to start buying CDs again instead of burning dvd mp3 disks Quote Team Pinnacle / Team SouthEastSPL / Team SoundStream / Team GPI / GPI Sales Rep for Florida and Georgia
