Friend's 3/4 ton dodge ram-single cab (UPDATED 1/13-COMPLETED: ton of pics)

Recommended Posts

2 primer and 3 coats of paint

we were talking about it after we finished, and we should have dont 3 primer and like 2 or 3 coats of black, then sanded the black down and one final coat of black.

we fucked the paint up a little taking it back to my house, so we may still sand it down again and spray another coat of black on

but that thing is slicker than a baby's ass

wow... that slick eh ?? looks like fiberglass cause of the SHINEY NESS ITY... i like shiney... who designed the box ?

Well, we did a little wiring and put the ports in the other day. And today…the sub FINALLY came in…it’s a beauty..nice and beefy. We just ordered the amp (hifonics bxi1206d), so that should be here Monday or Tuesday…anyways…onto the pics…

Mounting the ports…didn’t use those braces we made for them…they were a lot sturdier than I expected, being so long and all…

doing the wiring for the sub…the two empty holes were a screw up on my part…filled with silicone now…

Lookin good man.

The shot of the sub sitting in front of the box REALLY gives an idea of how smooth/shiny that box front is. Nice lil mirror action goin on looks pretty tyte.

Nice work. keep them pix rollin.

thanks man!! and yea, the box looks 10times better since we sanded it and put 2 or 3 more coats of paint on it. i think if we really wanted to we coule make it close to flawless, but we dont feel like spending the time on it since it aint for nobody special. i truly appreciate a mdf box that is painted and looks good...more pics probably middle of next week....

i likes me some audio stuff...
