jcm1689 Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 the honda with 10K RMS has his subs like this. but i dont see why it wouldnt work? that guy has 18" woofers though, I'm just saying if you have room to place them like this with the port. im the guy that built that honda. would placing the subs parrallel to the port make any difference as in loudness. like stated above the 18's wouldnt fit like that in the current box but were always looking for ways to make that thing louder. im no expert but from what i know im thinking it might? by mounting them in parrellel you could mount them both as far back as possible giving both wavelengths more time to develop??? i could be or probably am wrong. anyone? sorry not trying to thread jack. BASS14 Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Posted August 9, 2008 I would test fit it to see if it works if it doesnt sell it and build another one i did test fit it....it dont work the way i wanted it to....i wanted to have my seats help old it up but do to it hitting the slideing window latch i cant have my seats lean on it like i wanted cause the subs will hit the seats when playing! so wat i think im gona do is build some legs for it that are just a lil taller then wat i need cause then that will keep the box leaned back as far as it will go....and then ill just have to leave my seats bout an inch up the subs dont hit....that should work...
