Might Get New Car

So, i might be getting a new car, but i want other peoples input on it. The car i am looking at is a 2000 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Its got the nice non-plastic back seat, the spot light, 117000 miles, cop black rims with the chrome centers and cop grade tires, still has cop chip and intake, V8, its black and the only real body damage is the scratches on the hood and the trunk. This car is going for 3000

But in order to get this car, i may have to trade my Explorer for it. Its a 1999 with 140000 miles, 4 wheel drive, v 6 SOHC, its got a fair amount of rust on the lower parts of the back doors and on the rear passenger fender. new tires, new exaust, new lower balljoints, no mechanical problems EVER

So, if anyone wants to give a lil' input on whether or not i should trade the exploder, sell it privately and if so how much should i ask for, or just forget about the vic.

Also, if pictures will help just tell me.

Personally, I'd keep the X, but them P.I. Crown Vics can get the hell up there. If it were me though I'd stay with the X.

Thats kinda hard if you do get the Crown vic you would be less suspected by the cops since they drive them

i wouldn't get the cop car... but i'd like one.. but not a retired police car...

they run their car to hell and back... but there all different... my friend has one thats was considered a "escort" car.. which they drive to prision to prision.. but never actual on the road chasing people... it has a ton of miles and interior is ugly.. but runs great...

dont get the crown vic unless you plan on snatching the back seat out and building back there. the trunk is very hard to work in

well, i test drove the crown vic, AMAZING, its got some great pickup but will need new shocks and brakes within the next year.

Here is what's funny, on my way back to the dealership, i was on a road that widened from 1 to 2 lanes, i was stuck behind a semi so i decided to see what the crown vic could do and i floored it and got to 50 from 30 in a very very impressive ammount of time. BUT, as im passing i realize that cops usually sit in this clearing a few yards ahead, i see the cop and slow down to 40 before i pass him, right after i pass him he flips on the lights and pulls me over.

FIRST TICKET! not that im proud, but hey, only 1 ticket EVER at age 18, thats pretty damn good.
