dwright27
ok so i think instead of waiting till monday im gonna put the remote start on my truck. the ford pats required a module to over ride it which i have and im a little confused on what to do. can i hard wire straight to the battery? as far as the positive goes? and do i have to connect the "key sense" wire, pretty scared of it since it is one of the air bag wires or some shit. just so many wires, but i dont think ill have to hook all them up since i got the PATS Module bypass right? Shyne151
DEI 556U... very dependable transponder bypass... put a second key in it, place the ring around the key cylinder, hooked up status/12v/ground... done. And don't use t-taps. If you don't want to put a second key in, you can usually buy a blank from a locksmith for about 20bucks and program it into the car... or goto the dealership and ask if they have any miscuts... those are usually like 5bucks. To program it in you need two keys that are cut/programmed into the car. To program turn first key to accessory wait for red light on the dash to go out... remove first key... put second key in and repeat. Once the red light goes off the second time turn the car off and remote start the unit... the key will now be programmed in if everything is hooked up right.
