No not drug dealers...regular shop dealers

had to buy four 1/0 gauge connectors, paid 17$ and similar stores are the same price, I knew only audio places would sell them unless I got online and I was using them tonight...

well, he really tried to like, work over on me, trying to sell me things lol. I was like I have amps, cause he offered me a 4k RF if I'm not mistaken and I didn't even ask him price cause I knew it was gonna be like 1.8 or so..I said I had 3k rms running in my car...a fib, I'm only running like 2500-2600...and I asked him what he had sub wise to fit that...alpine type x's...I lawled cause when I said used L7's he said the typ x's would walk all over them..

he took his words back quick and said well L7's are good on the low end etc etc. anyways...if I had been someone not used to buying car audio I probably would have bought them...just goes to show how they try and make bread on the uneducated..

I am just curious why people make posts like these?

Are you looking for some comfort or props for trying to out smart a audio shop?

If you think about it selling audio stuff is quite easy, a good percentage of people really have no clue about any of this stuff. And the small percentage that do walk in and specify excatly what they want and how they want it.

Now there is the internet so alot of smaller run Car Audio business are dying off. Kinda like Walmart Vs Mom and Pop Grocery Stores.

I always hated the people that would walk in and pull my chain asking me questions about our stereo gear and then proceed to say that brand X and that store Z has this and its better.

Its like why did you even come in here in the first place to tell me that my gear is crap ect.

There is an exception to every rule, There are people that work in these audio shops that have little to no clue about car audio just like the general public that walks in the doors.

DDs get over priced VERY easily being the best SPL sub. watch how much you pay(i work @ a DD dealership pm me for average prices)
