Nickvb6
I was always told that you could never put an amp on tweeters but how do these people have like 20 of them in a car how would you power them up idk this may seem like a dumb question. You can amp tweeters that why good sets of components are bi-ampable you just have to have your crossover set so it filters out the freqs that tweeters aren't meant to play i.e. 3,500hz and above is a typical crossover point so the midrange plays 3,500hz and below and the tweet plays 3,500-and up. littleitaly1990
if you have a processor or crossover sending only high frequencies than of course you could put tweeters on an amplifier. Beanz
can you hook up the tweeter with the car door speakers casue thatas waht i was doin but i had it hooked up with the speakers tweeter???can you do that or will it mess up on you??? That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. Forevrbumpn
The higher the octave the slope is on the cross over, the safer it is to power tweeters at rated, or higher than rated power And you cant be setting treble gains up all hella high, or EQ gains at like 12db at like 17k 20k (example) keep it flat, and the power to the tweeter, or multiple tweeters will compensatefor the sound that you are looking for I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
