For instance don't mix a flooded die hard with an AGM Powermaster. IMO I like to keep the same type of battery (brand and size) because it looks better!!! Most AGM batteries will rest at close to the same voltage. Powermaster has the highest resting voltage that I've seen, but only by a couple tenths. Flooded means that is is filled with electrolyte suspended in water. AGM means that the electrolyte is suspended in a silicate jelly, then soaked in fiberglass mats.
