99vic Posted August 16, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2008 ok well as soon as the wife got home i ran out to check the sub she played it at the same volume all the way home until she parked the car. the sub was fine no heat i asked her if it was the same temp as when she felt it this morning she said yes the sub really wasnt warm at all, i pulled it out real fast and tested the coils with a different dmm and they are reading the same but when i clamp the lead in like i would a speaker wire they stay pretty close to the same numbers after a few seconds.. but when i try and touch them to the post they get crazy again. but i noticed if i hold them there for 5 seconds they are fine.
