Kapetol T Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 Just curious.... but lets say I have a 4000 watt amp, and I have a box with 2 15's and one with 2 10's... would it work to hook them all up to the one channel of the 4000 watt amp if they are all rated at 1000 watts? Has this been tried or am I just retarded for thinking of this?

I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
Decaf Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 and the answer remains the same... only mix same size same models subs in one vehicle u dont need a 10 for midbass, 12 for the middle and 15s for the low... ive heard that way too many times 10s arent punchier and 18s arent sloppy by design... the only... and i mean the only time i think that would make sense is if you have a party/beach truck with a system in the car... and one in the bed of the truck for everyone outside to hear... then it might make sense... but id never do it
