well, ok, he had those two subs, and a set of comps in the kick, then he had two smaller speakers in back someware. but he had two of those audio control EQ's in the car. its no joke

Leaving for arkansas in twenty minutes, might have updates in like ten days when i get back

Team S.M.D.

Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1

- American Bass 500.1

- 60 ft of 3/0

-480 Ah of battery

- (2) stock alternators (70 +90)

- Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts

car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol

Is there like a general rule when it comes to mounting speakers in pillars? Im gonna have plenty of bass soon and I want mids and highs to match. Right now iv got 5.25"s in the doors and 4x6" in the dash. Im contemplating taking out the 4x6 speakers all together and running a set of Fusion Reactor 4" 2-ways in the pillars, new 6.5" fusion components in the doors and Fusion powerplant 5.25" components in the b pillars behind my seats. I just dont wanna screw up the speaker placement and have it sound off balance. any suggestions from you guys on what to do?

Current System:

Pioneer 6900 HU

Front Stage: (for now)

Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors

Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash

Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs

Bass:

4 Soundstream RW-12's

2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's

single chamber box, 2.65 cubes.

Currently under the knife being bagged

Rebuilding err'thang
