If you don't need all of the revised crossover features from the B through C versions, yep, still a great amp. I was gonna buy one and then got told I have to wait 8-12 weeks. Now I'm trying to figure out if I should wait or just buy the one Chris has. Since you aren't actively crossing over you aren't going to see much benefit from the other revisions. SAX-100.4 -- Original model SAX-100.4B -- Updated crossover ranges SAX-100.4C -- Upgraded from 50-amp to 70-amp power supply transistors SAX-100.4D -- Model coming in 10-12 weeks * * Full information thread: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=19792 The transistor upgrade in the C version really doesn't make an audible difference, just a change I decided I wanted to make for long term reliability.
