I'm sure the D3400 is awesome, but I'm worried that it will be too heavy for my application. I assume the specs on the D3400 would be close to the D3100? And, it says on @ Mechman.com that the D3100 weighs over 80 lbs. I don't think that my wimpy plastic battery tray in my 1991 Ford Escort GT would support that much weight.

I already have a D925 and a D975. Could/Should I run the D925 or the D975 under the hood and use the D3400 in the hatch area with my amps? It should be noted that this is for a daily driven car.

My guess is that the answer would be no.

So........What is the lightest Powermaster starting battery you would recommend for a daily driver? I am leaning towards the D1200 or the D5100/R because of their weight.

A D975 or D925 would start your vehicle no-problem. It really makes no difference where the batteries are mounted, they are all going to be connected with 1/0 cable anyway,so the choice is up to you.

i on a budget so what one of the top 3 do you rececomend for a spare in the back
