High Output Alternator Question.

So I received my HO alt today from mechman. What im wondering is, is it ok to put it in now with just one battery in the car (Duralast Goldtop), or do I need to wait till I get my extra batteries so I don't have to much current on one battery?

The only extra current draw right now is a sundown 100.2 on a set of rockford components.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Alright, kool. I just didn't want anything to blow up =] just getting everything straight before I put it in.

Thanks guys

It will work great with the stock battery, just make sure you use a 1/0 power and ground and the battery it fully charged (12.8V or better) before you start the engine.

Thanks!

Ya everything went good. Its a duralast gold top series battery. I got the alt in and everything, tight fit but it worked. Kicker 0/1 on everything, all grounds and power wire. =]

Thanks again mechman!!!
